RMIMA provides ministerial credentials for qualified individuals called to full-time ministry. Licensing and Ordination are separate credentials with their own requirements.
RMIMA Licensing: Who It’s For
Licensing is for qualified individuals actively serving in full-time ministry who desire to receive ministerial credentials and endorsement through RMIMA.
Licensing Requirements
Applicants for Licensing must:
- ✦Be actively serving in full-time ministry
- ✦Have completed a minimum of one year of Bible school
- ✦Attend one complete Ministers’ & Leaders’ Conference — 8 days / 16 services
- ✦Complete the RMIMA Licensing application
- ✦Provide all required references
- ✦Successfully complete the required background screening
- ✦Meet all current RMIMA standards and requirements
- ✦Receive final approval from RMIMA leadership
- ✦Pay the applicable Licensing Credential Fee upon approval
- ✦Attend the applicable RMIMA Licensing Induction Service
Upon Approval
An approved Licensed Minister receives:
- ✦Official RMIMA Licensed Minister credential
- ✦Licensed Minister certificate
- ✦RMIMA Licensed Minister badge/digital credential
- ✦RMIMA Fellowship through the current membership year
- ✦Applicable RMIMA Fellowship benefits
Beginning the following year, the minister maintains active standing through their annual RMIMA Fellowship renewal.
RMIMA Ordination: Who It’s For
Ordination is RMIMA’s highest ministerial credential and is for qualified ministers who have demonstrated faithfulness and continued active ministry after being Licensed through RMIMA.
Ordination Requirements
Applicants for Ordination must:
- ✦Have been an RMIMA Licensed Minister for a minimum of two years
- ✦Be actively serving in ministry
- ✦Be in active RMIMA standing
- ✦Complete the current RMIMA Ordination application/process
- ✦Provide any required updated references and documentation
- ✦Complete any required background screening/update
- ✦Complete any required interview or leadership review
- ✦Meet all current RMIMA standards and Ordination requirements
- ✦Receive final approval from RMIMA leadership
- ✦Pay the applicable Ordination Credential Fee upon approval
- ✦Attend the applicable RMIMA Ordination Induction Service
Upon Approval
An approved Ordained Minister receives:
- ✦Official RMIMA Ordained Minister credential
- ✦Ordination certificate
- ✦RMIMA Ordained Minister badge/digital credential
- ✦Continued RMIMA Fellowship and applicable benefits
After Ordination, the minister continues to maintain active RMIMA standing through their annual Fellowship renewal.

Ministerial credentials may also assist ministers who require verification or endorsement when serving in hospitals, prisons, jails, nursing homes, and other institutions.
